Bring back a healthy, glossy shine for autumn

Autumn is a great time of year to update your hair colour. For us it’s all about getting my clients’ hair into good condition, getting rid of the bleached out look the summer has left you with and bringing back a healthy, glossy shine. Looks we love for the autumn:

hairdresser bathTint & Pieces
Rich chestnut hair with coppery highlights running through to accent the layers of the cut and catch your eye in the light. Wella’s premium range Illumina is great for achieving this look with its high shine, illuminating technology. This look is great for mid-length to long hair. To maintain this we would recommend an in-salon Kérastase Fusio Dose treatment to really lock in the colour and add moisture and shine.

hairdresser bathOmbre
We love the natural effect achieved with Ombre technique – darker at the roots and gradually lighter towards the ends like the sun has naturally lifted it over time. For autumn we advise warming up the colours using rich chocolates and copper tones and toning down the bleach ends to a warmer biscuity blonde. Wella Colour Touch is brilliant for this; it’s low peroxide for minimal damage and maximum shine and perfect for blending colour together and changing the tone of the hair. Ideal for long flowing locks, this look is low maintenance.

hairdresser bathPlatinum Blondes / Bleach & Tone
A great look no matter the weather. With tones ranging from icy white to a soft baby blonde this is a real statement look. Generally best for shorter styles, this look takes maintenance with regular root touch ups, conditioning treatments and trims to keep the colour looking its healthy and shiny best. I like to finish this service with a Colour Fresh toner to really make the hair sparkle. You can also use Colour Fresh at home to maintain shine.
