Welcome to Material, hairdressers in Bath

Hi, I’m Paul, director of Material Hair Salon in the artisan quarter of Bath. I trained with the hairdressing industry’s elite at Vidal Sassoon and worked in Sassoon salons and academies in London.

Precision hair cutting and expert Wella colouring

Material’s approach to great hair marries the artistic side of hairdressing with everyday wearable style. We tailor stylish and striking looks for our clients, precision cutting to create lasting shape and structure, adding colour when desired to accentuate the cut. We create hairstyles that feel like your favourite denim jeans, crisp cotton shirt or well worn leather jacket – versatile and comfortable, classic or customised, tailored in a timeless fabric and re-imagined season after season.

Whatever your perfect look we listen to your aspirations to shape, colour and condition your hair so it’s beautiful and easy to style at home.
